Where is my job, I would always ask these days.

having been finding a job for my graduation for two months, there is still no evidence someone would give me an offer. A lot of application form were filled. No one had replied to me. What a pity of myself!

People are all saying that economy is donw, we'd rather cut the human cost than recruit more people. It's really annoying. Am I need to go back to school ,and attend the class for two more years. Or maybe I can just creat my own business. Will I do this? Can I?

How to work with your computer efficiently?

I believe that what I am going to talk is a useful one for all of you. We use our computers every day, for work or entertainment. And sometimes it crash and we can’t continue our work. It’s really annoying, I think. Maybe you have already got your methods to deal with these problems. But I still hope you can benefit from my presentation.

Ok, let’s get to the point. First I’d like to talk about the security. The second part is back-up and restore. The third part is about making your computer run faster.

So security first.

Viruses can’t run themselves, they can’t duplicate themselves. So they can’t protect themselves until they get executed. The key point is to find and delete it before it get executed.

The key point is to keep your eyes open. What I mean is to set your operating system to show all hidden and protected files. For example, one of the popular sources of virus infection is removable storage device like u-disk. So remember to use the right-click and choose the resources manager to open the u-disk, not the double click. If there are any executable files in it, and you don’t know where it came from, they are probably viruse. You can just delete them and then they are gone forever.

Most of you may have installed one security-software. But I want to say that Anti-virus software is not any smarter than you. Besides that, anti-virus software can’t repair your computer after any corruption from the virus. You must do it yourself.

         Also remember to download files from official site and famous sites. There are such sites, such as duote.com, greedown.com and the official site of the software. Normally they have scanned their files before they get it published. So you can trust them.

There is a built-in Internet firewall within XP and Vista, remember to open it. It can protect you from network attack from other computers. And it’s enough without any other firewall.

Another tip is to open your automatic update options to get latest security updates.

         The last is about your confidential files. For example, you may have some credit cards information in your computer. Remember to set a password to these files. You can set a password to your Word and Excel files. Also you can just put these files into a package by winrar and set a password on it.

The second part: Backup and restore. Sometimes bad things still happens, so we must do something before to prepare for it.

         You can ghost an image of your hard disk on your mobile hard-disk. Although it may consume some time, but when bad things happened ,you will be relieved if you have one before.

         Upload your personal documents to network space.

Sometimes your files maybe deleted mistakenly, you can still use some software like FinalData to restore them.

You may find that your computer get slower and slower after the last time you re-install it.

First principle about this is that the less software your computer installed, the faster it will be. So only install them when you have to.

         After long time of use, your hard disk may have accumulated a lot of file fragments, so by defragging your computer regularly, you can increase the speed of your computer. Also if your believe your computer memory is large enough, like you have 1G or 2G memory, you can set it to use none virtual memory.

If you are careful enough you’ll find a system restore function in XP and Vista, in my opinion, there is no need to turn it on. It can only waste a huge disk space and slow the performance.

Sometime when your computer is connected to the Internet, you may find your computer get much slower sometime, it probably be the Windows Auto Update Options. So properly set the auto update options, let you choose when to download and update.

         Like any other software, Anti-Virus software can consume a lot of your system resources. So like I did, you can just un-install the anti-virus software. My computer has run naked for almost half a year. It’s ok, really.  Or if you really want one, I recommend to install NOD32，it is said to use the lowest resources.

Morgan Stanley IT Paper Test Experience

It's my first paper test from this semester. I received the invitation about a week ago. It's from the Technology Division In Shanghai Recuritment. Like they have said at the presentation, most people who had submited appication will get the paper test invitation.

I arrived quite early.I guess there are about 1000 thoundsand people there for the test, of course there are still 7 other cities.

The test is in English, so all ansers should be written in English. Three part:1.Muliti Choice, 2.Logical Question, 2.2 Programming question or 2.3 Mathmatical questions(You can choose one of them between 2.2 and 2.3.)

The fist part includes about 15 multi-choice questions. You are supposed to select only single answer to all questions except explicitly stated! Following are some questions I still remembered:

(algorithm):Choose all the following stable sorting methods.

a. heap sort b.insertion sort c.merge sort ....

(operating system): Which of the following statements best describe the difference between thread and process?

a. ...

(network structure): Which was used to decide the destination ip address is within local domain or not?

Router,ARP,Subnet Mask.... I choose Subnet mask.(Caution I'm not sure!)

Part II is some logical question which covered permutaion , probability... you are suggested to choose the questions you are sure you can do because of the time limit.

One silly question is that:

There are two children in a family, if one is girl, then what is the probability that the other one is a boy? Of course  it's 1/2 if this question is really silly.

A physics problem I thought, Suppose there is a infinite straigh line beach. And an offshore lighthouse is exactly 1 miles from the beach. And the beam is rotating at 1 revolution per min.

What's the speed of the whitedot( the intersection of the beam and the beach ) move along the beach line when the whitdot is exactly 3 miles from the lighthouse?

It's some tricky to understand, hopefully I figured it out. Actually is just the decompose of the speed of the whitedot into two direction.

Also another question is about balls. There are 12 balls of the same weight except one. Now we have a balance, by which you can weigh two piles of balls and know whether they are of the same weight or which is heavier. What is the minimum times of using the balance to find out which ball is different and whether it is heavier or lighter? 

I find out after the test. It can be figured out by using information theory.

There are 12 possibilities and 2 possibilities of the weights(heavier or lighter),so 24 possibilities in all. So the amount of information is log24/log2.

And there are 3 possibilities in one balance time.(equal, left is heavier, right is heavier). If everytime the information you get is independent. Then you can get log3/log2 amount of information. So the result is log24/log3=1.38/0.47=2.9 so 3 three times is enough. To find out the deatail method to use the balance, just google it.

I choosed the 2.2 programming because I can't understand some words in 2.3 mathematical.

Example:

The difference between stack and heap, what goes to heap, and what goes to stack?

What is the purpose of finalization in Java?

The difference between static variables and global variables?

And to write a algorithm to delete the last N nods of a given singlisted list. STL and Java library function is not allowed. 

Caution, all question are reviewed on both results and steps. I think if you can prepare early, for example, one month ,it's really no big deal! These are just some basical knowledge in the courses, except they are all in English.

My biggest success?

The experiences I have when my family moved to Guangzhou in 1996

I moved to Guangzhou when I was ten. It was really hard for me to keep up with my classmates. Because I had never studied English before. However ,they had already learned how to talk some normal coversations. So I tried my best, and asked the teacher to help me after the class.  Two months after, I got an A in English. And I can understand most cantonese my classmates speak after class. I think this is the biggest success I'd ever made.

What's your career plan?

At first, I'd like to be a developer in the field of IT industry. Then after some more experiences, I would like to be in a senior position in which I can have a broader view of the development process. With the lower layer knowledge I have in these positions, later I plan to be in a manager position in which I can directly design the whole structure of the product and communicate directlly with the customers.

See yourself 5 years later

5 yeas later, I would have learned the structure of the devlopment of a product. Also, communicate with customers would my main responsibility, because I understand what can be done and what can not. To be a manager to provide solution and service to my customers. I would design and modify the whole structure and negotiate my whole team to fufill customers' needs.

My friends said I was helpful. Maybe that's because I have helped a lot when they encountered some computer problems.

And they think me of creativity because I always think of some bussiness plan. And I always write down the plans. Then I would share the ideat with them. I always take a close eye on the environment. And always want to make some change, make some modifications. How to do better? What would I do if I was in that position? I always ask myself these questions.

High pressure is no problem I think. Sometimes it's really some kind of good stimulus. In some competition, there is always some kind of deadline. I would do my best when I was under great pressure. Because I would always believe in myself. So however the pressure is , I would try my best. Then I won't feel pity of myself. Because I had done the best of myself.

Finding Jobs

These days I've been busy looking for jobs. Mostly I went to the Yinjiesheng website, and found many new jobs pop out. These jobs are all nice, but also with a high standard and many requirements.

It's really frustrating that I did not fit into their requirement even it's a great job. And people always say a lot about their past experience on the job application. They've made a great success, or they won't say a word. But I am still filling a lot of forms and questions, waiting for rejection.

Today I went to an presentation by the Technology Division of Morgan Stanley, a great investment bank in America. It's recruiting people in Shanghai. They offer a competitive salary, also a high standard of ability.

If I can decide the career path I would take one year ago, this would be quite easy for me now.

So I try to tell Sinkey what I think and remind her that she should take action as early as possible. Try to find a suitable job, understand the job requirements and try to prepare for it now.

These days I always call my mother. Because I want to buy a new notebook. The Thinkpad T400. There is a special sale going on. Before Sept 30th, I can buy the T400 notebook with special discount only for students. That's really sound attractive. With the old one,  I was really not confident to persuade my parents to buy the new one for me. I called several times. But all failed to say the word.

Also I think that these notebooks are too bad. First, they are all too heavy. Although there are ones called netbook weigh really light, they always generate much more heat than the bigger one. They are just not your best dreamed one if you can't accept their flaws.

Today I took the TOEIC test. It's not so difficult. It's much like the tests i took before the real test.

By the way, it rains in Beijing again. It has rained a lot during this year. It's really rare in Beijing, the northen city famous for its shortage of water. More stangely in the Olympics year.

Today I went to the railway station to buy the ticket home. I didn't buy the ticket I originaly want. There was no berth ticket availabe when I got there. So I bought a sitting ticket with 90.5 yuan because of the students' discounts. Cheap enough, although I don't want to have to stay within the sit through the journey which takes about 13 hours.

I don't want to waste a lot of money on traffic and other things. I still can't afford myself now. But I don't want to ask my parents for money all the time before I graduate from university.

Lenovo is doing a sales campaign on potenial notebook buyers. It offers a attractive price for student buyers. I was interested in it,too. But without a job, I still can't afford the price. What a pity. The special discount will end on Sept. 30th. 

Maybe I would buy just a desktop on the future when I can afford to buy one. Because it's more useful and much powerful than just a notebook. Also I don't usually take a notebook out, do I ?

Moreover, notebook all have a shortage of power, and great heat on the keyboard and the pannel behind it. It's so uncomfortable.

These days

After the Paralympics, my life is the same. There is no change in my life.

On 15th of this month. I went to consult the EF Training course. Without any surprise, it's really expensive. Today I went to the JWC to print out a table of my curriculum results. There I met a lovely girl. She said that whick school i was in. I told that i was in the new school. Then she asked me how was my rank. I told her it's too bad. "That's ok". But is it really ok, I asked.

When I came back to the dorm, I told my roommates to go there and talk with her because she was lovely. Yesterday I took the Laserjet to my school. It took my only 30 yuan to repair the machine.

Last semester I took it to ZGC, where they said 300 yuan. They didn't know how much i bought the used printer. It's 300 yuan. Another 300 yuan to repair? Impossible!

Because there is not LPT port on my notebook. So I use the Jetlan. It can link the printer by lan port. But there is another problem. Sometime I have to configured my route settings to let it connect both the wireless network and the cabled network. And my computer will not be confused.

After dinner this evening, I was fixing my aunt's computer. A lot of my work is missed. The day after tomorrow will be TOEIC TEST. I had to do many excercises to make me prepared.

Another thing to mention, today there is a English corner activity at the campus. I missed it.

What a pity! Next time I should be there. Must!

Like yesterday, I pass the Driving test course ii ,but i was unhappy. Because I miss the oportunity to contact the girl I met in the Driving class. I was too shy to ask her phone number.

I hate myself. I won't miss it next time. I wish it would never happen again!

My life today.

Yesterday I made a strange dream. The end of the world is coming. But I managed to get in the shelter,  without Sinkey, who is my girlfriend.
I was worried about her. I don't know where she is, how to find her. Later I wake up.
It's a little later than the time that I set my alarm. I planned to go to the school before 8.am. 

Because I was late, so I tried to finish my breakfast as quickly as possible. When i got to the bus stop, there were many people. The bus line i waited didn't come a long time after I got there. But later suddenly, there comes five buses, all the same line to my dest. After we went some distance, to my surprise, we were stuck in the traffic because of the Paralympics games. People were running marathons. I decided to walk to school. It't not until 9:30 am that the game was over. When it was over, I had walked a long time, and it's just one stop from my campus . 

I got on the coming bus again. When I set foot in my dorm, my roommates were still sleeping, what a relaxed life, i guess.

I didn't take any classes. I just packed some things into my baggage and went back to home.
I took a drawing board from the school. It was for my little brother. He love drawing pics.

It's late now, and I have to take a shower. By the way, this is the 1st activity of the "College Writing and Reading Book". I wish this can hopefully improve my English writing.

have you ever been helped by strangers in the rain?

It must be something exciting, or maybe kind of interesting, to be helped by someone you don't know. Although it seems crazy, it really occurred to me once.

It was in Shanghai when i had had a quarrel with Sinkey, and there was a typhoon around Shanghai.
So it was like raining cats and dogs. Her cell phone was powered off. In order to express my regret, I managed to get to the neighborhood gate where she lived.

When I called in her home, her mother answered and told me that she was out of home to buy some foods for her little tortoise. So I decided to wait until she went back home. As time passed by, I couldn't just stand there without doing something. I ran into the rain, wandering around the path between the Bird and Flower Market and Sinkey's home.

On the way , i met a man trying to help me. He asked me where i was going, and told me she can borrow me his umbrella. Without any thought, I refused his favor, maybe it's because of his straight way of doing that.

But later on I thought that maybe he was just trying to help. I was thinking too much on the bad things.

关于北邮

大概是上个星期，我出席了一次本院的XX奖学金颁奖典礼，获奖的没有我，但是有我们班的同学 ，所以我去给当观众。在院长答谢企业的发言中，院长说希望我们这些以后北邮的毕业生能像这个企业一样,（该公司的负责人是北邮毕业的），能在毕业后报答母校，支持母校，还说，之前也有不少企业与我们院合作颁发奖学金，但发了几年之后，就不给了。这家企业算合作的比较长久的。

当初一听到这句话，我就猜了，为什么那些企业给了几年又不给了呢？是因为不看好北邮未来的前景了吗？还是整个电信行业已经过了前几年那段风光的时段了。

作为一名北邮大三的学生，关于我们学校的事，道听途书的也不少，就我所听到的评论来看，北邮确实不如以前了，或者说别人都进步了，但是北邮却依然停滞不前，最近一段时间，甚至还在论坛上看到一条转浙大一为教授的评论，说没有就是一个技校，没有大学的氛围，就业好有个什么用，出来都去卖手机了。有人留言说“虽然话比较难听，但是切中了北邮的要害。”

北邮这几年的下滑或者说停滞不前与电信业的发展不无关系，由于前几年电信业的紧俏，各大知名高校分分上马电信专业，研究生等，其中不乏资历雄厚的名校。几年下来，虽然不能说已完全被赶超，但是北邮也已经早已没有当初唯我独尊的霸气。而且与那些后来居上者相比，（北邮生来就是专注于邮电相关的研究性院校，最近几年才改编为大学，向综合型方面发展），与其他学术气氛，文化氛围浓厚的学校相比，北邮校园天生缺乏一种独特的大学文化。

并且自从学校划分给教育部后，(原隶属信产部）资金紧缺一直是校方的一大心病。而且近几年来，教育部门开始重视对于综合型大学的培养，加大了这方面的投入，但是大多都是在原有基础条件良好的，对于北邮这类刚走综合型道路没有多少年的大学，并不是特别重视。由于以前的学校的尊研究，轻文化的气氛，校方对于大学校园文化的营造和培养上，欠缺经验，校方更多的重点放在项目开发、技术研究上。

单从学校占地面积上来说，与紧邻的北师相比，就败下阵来，更不用说更远的北理工，北航了。

虽说刚建好了一座室内体育馆，有了室内游泳池，新的室内健身房，羽毛球馆等，但北邮的文体活动以及相关设施依然十分有限，再看看经常在门口停着的那些车，从里面走出几个拿着羽毛球等装备的人就知道，由于对社会的开放，羽毛球场一些场馆经常会出现公司包场，活动占用等。并没有优先对校内的师生开放。

另外不得不说的是关于学校夜间运动场所照明的问题。对于我们这些很多白天都忙着上课，上自习的学生来说，很多时候，真正大家一起娶着去打打篮球，踢踢足球的时间恐怕也只有晚上了。但是几乎每天晚上，足球场，篮球场上都是漆黑一片。原来可以利用上的体育设施根本没有充分利用上。有时候晚上，在操场上跑步的时候，看到对面北师那边的操场灯火通明，心里真的很羡慕。难道学校不明白体育运动对于大学生培养，促进学生之间交流的重要性吗？

在我看来，大学最重要的就是要营造一个能让学生与学生之间，学生与老师之间，学生与社会之间自由沟通，互动的平台。这样，这样的大学，才能称之为一所大学。

但是，看看我们学校，除了平时上课，上自习，而且大家都知道，现在的上课，老师几乎都是讲PPT，学生与老师交流的机会也并不多。平时学生与学生之间也很少有聚到一块交谈沟通的机会，甚至一个小班都很少聚到一块。学校并没有提供一个专供学生与学生之间互动交流的固定场所，（不是说自习室，自习室只能无声的沟通。。。）我想这大概也是造就北邮人论坛火爆的原因，大家都窝在寝室里，有事没事就泡在论坛上了。

经常在北邮主干道上看到，“北邮教育思想大讨论”“……共建北邮核心竞争力”的口号。可是讨论了这么久，讨论了些什么呢？有什么结果吗？曾经在教学评估的时候，虽说学校做了很多努力,学校很多地方也确实改进了很多，比如说教室的教学设备整修了很多，墙面上的漆都重刷了一遍，当初的足球场、篮球场上的灯也开了一个星期。可是这些表面功夫又有什么用呢？给足了专家面子。但是学校现在又在做些什么呢？

学校的未来与我们个人自身的发展息息相关，关乎学校各方面的问题，其实我们每一个人都有充分的理由但是参与其中，但是一所大学的校风与文化建设不仅需要我们每个人的努力，更需要学校方面各方面的支持与引导。

上面提到的很多问题，可能很多人都会归咎于资金方面的问题，但是不管真是没钱，还是怎样，学校都是可以尽力做一些很什么的，难道没有钱，学校就一点事都不用做了吗？难道我们学生集体运动的活动时间不值得学校花那几个小时电费？如果确实有困难，学校可以少一点，可以开一半的时间，总比一分钟也开好。

另外，和很多学校一样，很多老师都因为项目缠身而很忙，很难照顾到我们学生的每一项需求，我们是可以理解的，但校方其实可以通过下方一部分权力，促进学生多多举办学生之间的交流互动，学生与老师，校与校，学校与社会之间的交流活动，多多鼓励，就已经尽到学校的责任了。我们并不需要学校为我们做太多，我们需要的只是学校对于学生需求的重视与理解。这样我们也会更好的理解学校。

因为学校其实可以做其实有很多，譬如说，关于学生之间活动场所匮乏的问题，经常的教室租用紧张的情况，学校其实可以利用夜间食堂的空间，提供一些相关设施。譬如投影，音箱之类的。。多延长几个食堂的开放时间，利用这些空间提供给学生进行一些活动。譬如很多人可能都想加入实验室，但是实验室空间固然有限，其实上面这样的空间就可以给更多有同样兴趣的人，提供一个可以互相“讨论”，“学习”的空间，这样学校就有更多的人“会议室”“工作间”，这些都是学校可以马上做的。更重要的是，通过这小小的努力，学校表达了对于我们学生需求的重视。

学校方面如果能以更开明，更耐心的态度看待学生的需求，而不是总用一些同样的理由来搪塞。并且在现有条件下，努力为我们学生做一些力所能及的事，那么，我们学校就一定能慢慢的，一点一滴的往好的方向发展下去。

写了这么多，也说了一些学校的不是，但是自己真的很关心北邮未来的发展。说一身谢谢，如果你能听我说这么多，说明你也很关心自己，关心北邮的发展。眼看着就大四了，考虑自己的前途之余，也非常关心北邮未来的发展，其实很后悔自己在大一、大二没有多为北邮做些什么。

因为其实，我们每个人都做一点点，都可以让北邮改变一点，而北邮的的改变同样会影响我们每一个人。

最后希望刚入北邮大一、大二的学弟学妹们，不管怎么样，已经上了北邮这条船，抱怨完学校这里不好那里不好之后。也试试从自己做起，为北邮添一份砖，加一份瓦。即使只是在某一方面给校方提一个小小的建议。

为什么我们要抵制家乐福

法国、英国等国的西方媒体已经在自从西藏动乱后一系列事件的报道中表现了他们所谓的新闻自由、民主，也让我们一览无余西方世界对其他不同意识形态国家的偏见是多么根深蒂固。

在西藏暴力事件发生后，美国、法国、英国等西方媒体，包括CNN，BBC等所谓民主国家的新闻媒体，无一不顾事实真相，歪曲事实，千方百计挖掘抨击中国的材料，甚至于不惜造假，将民众指责暴力分子的采访编造为对政府的抨击，这就是西方所谓的新闻自由精神吗？丝毫不认可中国在处理此事上的合理性，正当性。

法国公然允许藏独分子在市政厅悬挂藏独旗帜，法国总统公然声明抵制奥运会，借口是所谓的中国人权问题。

法国警察在中国奥运火炬手屡次受到藏独分子的冲击时，保持了“相当的克制与容忍”，这种放任暴力分子对火炬手的威胁，就是法国所谓的人权与自由吗？

火炬在法国传递过程中，周围微观法国民众对于藏独分子冲击火炬手一片嘘声，反而没有人同情火炬手。

作为法国家乐福的第一大股东LV集团，曾向意图分离西藏的达赖集团捐巨款。

…… ……

作为中华民族的一分子，我们不能不愤怒，既然他们能够进行抵制奥运会的投票，停止圣火传递的投票，我们国家倾尽心血想为世界献上一部精彩的奥运会，而他们不领情，甚至于抵制我们的奥运会？我们为什么不能做出我们的行动，抵制他们的商品，抵制他们的商场呢？

让法国知道，法国要为自己所做过的事，说过的话负责！

今天偶然听到朋友说，一位家乐福的员工说“上级说了，知道中国人会这样做，到时候就搞个促销，中国人就是贱，不怕他们不来”。

来源可不可靠我不知道，但是我想说的是，到时候如果大家真的会因为一次促销而放弃抵制，那真是我们中国人的悲哀。

在这起事件上，我们应该团结，帮助自己的国家。

抵制家乐福 更多的并不是实际意义，而是其所带来的象征意义，象征我们中国人的团结，象征我们中国人对于任何破坏祖国统一、团结的不屈服。

我们要证明：我们每个人愿意为国家，我们每一个人热爱这个国家，也非常支持北京的奥运会。欢迎前来的四方宾客，但是我们不欢迎那些借机干涉我国内政的人、国家。

如果你支持你的国家，相信你的国家，相信自己的国家不该受此屈辱，请做出自己的行动，向那些让我们国家备受屈辱的人说不！

具体行动：

！也许我们不能永远不去家乐福，但是五月一日请永远不要踏进家乐福半步！

！我们可以在家乐福门口派发支持“北京奥运会”“抗议法国北京奥运会火炬受辱”的传单，告诫不知情人士参加这次抵制活动。

！如果政府支持的话，我们也可以进行游行，表达我们支持北京奥运会的心声，压倒那些反对北京奥运会的声音。（既然国外的留学生可以游行支持北京奥运会，我想国内的我们也可以。）

The Media Role in Tibet Affairs

Nowadays people's intercommunication depends more and more on the public media, especially the Internet.

Before these days , maybe people sometimes would call friends to get together or chat about what is going on face to face. But with the development to modern media , people are more and more likely to be impressed by a media report.

Due to the deep sterotype in the Western MainStream Media, and most western people know little about China, so the media maybe is the only originate source on China Condition. In this way, the people in Western Country are pathetic. They don't even know where is Tibet, Why Free Freedom, What really Happened in Tibet on March 15th 2008. But they have use their action to disrupt the torch relay,and Great Protest had happened. And so many People have their eyes on this Accidents.

And in my view, it's their rights to say their word, but only take it peacefully, not so voilently. No one will tolerate this shame, and China of course. In their protest , some actions are really not that so-called peaceful, even voilently.

I am in China, I don't need or want to argure that you are wrong. But our Government role in this accident. On this Accident, the defect of restrict the media freedom is obvious. For example, many people express their words on Youtube, one of the most popluar video-sharing sites, there are many video talking about this affairs such as torch relay protest, free tibet topic,etc.

There is words, and people can give comment on it. But in China ,with the internet sensor system by the government ,it's not easy to get access to this content. Then how can we let people know that we don't like that and what truth is. It's like that when i see the pic above,I'm so excited to join that to support our country. But it's not in american, it's not easy to have such events even we are support our country.

So the government should give up the internet sensor system as soon as possible or slowly loosen the restrict zone. It will contrilbute a lot to our Internation status if we have a good environment to talk freedomly. If it is done, more and more Chinese people would stand out to support our country, and do anything to protect China's glory.

Why we still want to buy a car?

Two aspects of Traffic Cost:
1. Energy cost
2. Environment cost

The following is a real experience of my own example that would prove
the VE's importance. ( VE is for Vehicle Efficiency And it stands for
the number of passangers in one car).

When I landed on the beijing airport. I need to take a bus to my
campus. But out of my expectation, the queue is so long.
And I spent almost half an hour just standing in the wind, and with
the freezing air.
In that condition, I can choose to take a taxi, but it would cost me
more than 100 yuan(about 13 us dollars). Though It's so annoying to
wait with the cold wind. I don't want to spend so much.

There is one common problem of those exiting solution to improve our
environment or make a sustainable world.
Like the above example, It's the problem of cost. Whenever we want to
make a green project into practice, it's not cheaper. And it's not
convenient, We have to spend more to get the green, Or it's a long
procedure, we can't make it quickly.

Also we can't substitute the green by destroying people's convenience.
Then Is there any other solution that, when the resources is limited,
and without more cost to fullfill people's needs, but also can
improve the environment condition.

So I thought of the VE Plan.

As for our project. The dynamic ride-sharing system. The aim is to
increase our efficiency of our energy consumption.

Then In the above scene. How can we change to make the world green,
and enable a sustainable world without much cost.

The circumstance is that there is always only one person in one taxi,
but still many people are still waitting in the quee.

#How can we save by the DRS system.
List The power consumption change.
And how much will cost the waitting people if they choose to have
carpooling, and......

#There is a man ask everywhere to find a partner. How our system can
help him. The stop.

Happen to see this "Dalai Lama: China causing 'cultural genocide'", when i finished reading this article. I found the critics on no ground. The Dalai Lama just said "China, as the world's most populous nation, deserves to host the Olympics but it must look seriously at repairing its human rights record in order to be a good host." But where is the proof. When you are giving some results, always don't forget to give the proof to make people believe you. It's not that all critics is good.

And to say the human rights, people is dying. Is the people dying to fulfill your aim? Is that what you call it human rights. The Tibetan people don't deserve the death. Without the protest , they won't die. Is the codition so bad that people have to die? Is this what you want? You know China need a smooth Olympics. But you are living far from Tibet.

Just saying that China should be responsible for this. What are you doing?

Future...

Sinkey' ear is hurting, maybe it's getting worse. I should buy some
medicine or something like that to help her.
Yesterday sally said that why sinley and I have done something to earn
some liscences in the winter holidays. And she said that she has a lot
of friends that are busy with preparing toefl or gre, learning
english, having working experiences by take part in jobs during the
holidays. That make me think. Do I really know what my future path is?
If I do , then what is it? Am I fullly prepared? I don't know. Sinkey
and I are always arguing or happily wandering. We did have thought of
the future. But we just dreamed what should it be in the future. We
didn't really know what should we do now to earn the good future. And
we have done nothing.
It's about our life in the future. What we do now will decide how it
would be in the future.
Future: Our job, our family, which house we live.
